Yarn P0rn Survey

1. What kind of fibers do you prefer? Anything with cashmere or silk (no brainer), although I am increasingly fond of alpaca.

2. What kind of weight do you prefer (sock, worsted, bulky)? Meh, it depends on the project. Obviously.

3. Do you spin? No.

4. Do you crochet? I can crochet a single chain! Yay me!

5. Are there any books, patterns, magazines would you like to own that you don't? Fitted Knits, a couple things from Debbie Bliss, and the Vee pullover.

6. Are you participating in any themed a-longs like the Project Spectrum? I'm a member of some Dishcloth Yahoo Group, but I haven't done a knit-along since... well, ever.

7. Do you have a wishlist on Amazon.com or Half.com? Eh, I have stuff leftover from my wedding registry, but it's just plates and stuff.

8. Any Etsy stores that you would love to get something from? Nah, I just browse.

9. What other crafty things are you involved in (quilting, drawing, painting)? Bead making, turning trash into treasure (I believe they call that recycling!), repurposing jewelry and other random things.

10. What is your favorite sort of scent? Herbal-- lavender, tea tree oil, rosemary, that kind of thing.

11. Do you have a sweet tooth and what kind of sweets do you like best? Most def-- I like ice cream and fruit flavored things, although who doesn't like chocolate?

12. What kind of music do you like? I know it's a cliche, but I really will listen to anything. I'm a musician, so I want something that uses more than 3 chords. But I'm a singer, so I like something with a good melody I can sing to.

13. What do you like to knit? And for whom? Everything. I tend to pick smaller projects that don't take tons of time, but I've done a few big projects here and there. I knit almost exclusively for other people, although every once in a while I decide to keep something for myself. Once I start doing more sweaters, I'm keeping them for myself!

14. What sort of things do you like to collect? Garbage.

15. Do you want needles? And what kind do you prefer? Yes yes! Knitpicks Options set is numero uno on my birthday wishlist, although I love working with DPNs now and need a few other sizes. I also need some sock needles.
