Speaking of the garden, I've been marveling over my gorgeous okra, which I love to eat, but also the flowers that grow on this plant. Seriously lovely. I like this pic because of all the lovely bugs in my garden too. Hope they don't eat veggies while we're away!
I went to my yarn shop today and picked up some goodies to work on while we're at the beach.
I think I'll have plenty to work on! That's two hanks of Linen Tweed and two of Cotton Classic mercerized cotton for dishcloths, 8 skeins of Sirdar Click for a sweater, and one super cool skein of Sitron Trekking sock yarn for my first pair of socks! And the new sock book by Ann Budd, sock needles, and a few new stitch markers. Yep, I'll be busy. I think I'm starting on the socks, because that's something new to me.
